The Swiss Life Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Zurich Altstetten. It is the home stadium of the ice hockey club ZSC Lions. The arena has a maximum capacity of 12,000 spectators. The Floorball World Cup will be the first major event to be held in the brand-new Swiss Life Arena, which is scheduled to open in August 2022. Steep tiers and a compact design make the stadium a "witches' cauldron". The largest video cube in Europe hangs under the roof of the arena. The stadium is named after the Zurich-based life insurance company Swiss Life.
